We ended the 2020-2021 school year with a water play full of smiles and laughter. I cannot be happier and prouder of our school and teachers to provide a safe, happy, and enriching environment for our families. We made it through the pandemic with no COVID cases. This could not happen without your help. Your patience with the school’s strict policies and your collaboration in following the regulations and guidance helped us stay open in person for this school year. Our children were able to socialize, play and learn throughout the year. Our little school provided our own safe bubble during this challenging year. WE MADE IT! THANK YOU!

It is a pleasure to have many of you back at Little Hoku next year. For the 2021-2022 school year, we did not need to open enrollment to the public for our third year (kindergarten) and second-year (4-5 years old) since we were full from our returning students. This is an indication of success and very rewarding for me. It makes me feel that I have accomplished what I have been dreaming for.

I have high hopes that next year we will be able to bring back the parent’s involvement, extracurricular activities, and field trips. I am looking forward to another year full of fun and learning. Meanwhile, the summer families will enjoy 7 weeks of planned themed fun. These themes are Ocean, Zoo, Nature/Flowers, Space/4th of July, Music, Around the world, and sports/Olympics week. I cannot wait to take the planetarium to school for space week and fly to space with them.

Thank you all for being part of this rewarding journey,

Head of School
Dr. Shadi Naderi
